Scarborough Lights Up Redcliffe

Christmas by the Sea is a popular local event that is brought to you by Scarborough Lights Up Redcliffe Inc. along with the Moreton Bay Regional Council.

Brisbane Convoy for Kids

Come and watch as trucks, utes, cars and bikes make a convoy and travel from Heathwood on Brisbane’s southside up to Redcliffe Showgrounds on Saturday 7 November.

Brisbane Convoy for Kids is a convoy to raise money for disabled and disadvantage children.

Once the convoy reaches Redcliffe it turns into a truck and ute show and a family fun day with live entertainment, markets stalls, food, displays, auctions, rides, fireworks and so much more.

The event starts at 11am and goes through into the night until 11pm at Redcliffe Showgrounds, Scarborough Rd, Redcliffe.

Garden Parts Markets – Scarborough

Redcliffe’s Love Handmade Markets have a new venue in Scarborough at Reid’s Wedding Place with the next market being held Saturday 7 November.

This series of markets take on a garden party feel with boutique stalls and high tea, creating the perfect time out experience.

The Love Handmade markets showcase the best in handmade design from local and Queensland craftspeople. Wake to enjoy the handmade markets, stay for high tea in the gardens and afterwards take a stroll to nearby beaches.

Redcliffe Museum

For an interesting walk down memory lane and into Redcliffe’s historic Peninsula and community, the Redcliffe Museum is a great free activity for visitors.

The Museum and its collections offers an intriguing insight into this unique region: its European history since 1799, its heritage as Queensland’s first European settlement in 1824-25, its much older indigenous culture, its rich maritime history, and the pleasures and surprises of bayside life.
