For those who appreciate fine art, Stage Door Gallery at Redcliffe Cultural Centre exhibits the works of a variety of different artists.

The gallery mainly features the works of local artists, however it welcomes regular exhibitions from artists residing outside the Moreton Bay region.

After you have finished browsing the gallery grab a coffee and cake from Cue Café, located in the lower foyer of the Redcliffe Cultural Centre. Featuring ultra-comfortable lounge dining and a beautiful courtyard deck.

Charmaine Wilson – The Spirit Whisperer

Internationally renowned spirit medium, Charmaine Wilson, is appearing at Redcliffe Cultural Centre on Thursday 14 April.

She will bring messages of love and healing to those suffering through the loss of a loved one, on her Happy Memories Tour.

This is your chance to see Charmaine again helping to transform lives. If you’re already a fan, you know the impact she has, and if you’re new or skeptical, you will certainly get an insight into how accurate Charmaine is.

Wiggle Town

Get ready to wiggle! Australia’s favourite children’s entertainment group, The Wiggles, are coming to the Redcliffe Cultural Centre on Tuesday 29 March.

Wiggle Town is the name of a brand new tour as well as the new Wiggles CD, DVD, and TV series which debut on ABC TV soon.

All the family can sing, dance and laugh along with Emma (Yellow Wiggle), Lachy (Purple Wiggle), Simon (Red Wiggle) and Anthony (Blue Wiggle) as they perform some of their old favourites. Plus their cool wiggly friends: Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword the friendly pirate.

Baan Phaya Thai Restaurant

Baan Phay Thai Restaurant is the ideal place for you and your family to feast on the most authentic Thai dishes. Located along the waterfront in Scarborough it offers a friendly casual atmosphere.

Redcliffe Sails Festival

A vibrant and colourful seaside celebration of all things Easter and nautical, the Redcliffe Sails Festival is happening this Easter. Head down to Suttons Beach at Redcliffe on Good Friday, 25 March to get the best view of the yachts sailing past in the 68th Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race.

There’s even an Easter surprise for the kiddies with a visit from the Easter Bunny, an Easter Egg hunt on the beach and plenty of rides and activities for kids – including a giant sand sculpture on the beach.

The Sails Festival will have something for everyone on a minimal budget with many free and low-cost activities. Along with plenty of entertainment, activities and workshops for the young (and the young at heart), there are more than 150 quality art, craft, handmade and unique market stalls as well as delicious food.

The festival commences at 9am and finishes at 4pm on Good Friday.

Valori Espresso Lounge & Gallery

Valori Espresso Lounge & Gallery is a funky little art gallery come coffee lounge overlooking Scarborough Park.

Valori has a well-earned reputation for the best espresso and iced coffee on the peninsula thanks to its dedicated baristas working their magic on beans from local roaster Neli Coffee.

As well as great coffee there is chai tea or summery granitas and there’s a small range of snacks – cakes, cookies and ‘Box o’ Brownies’ fudge courtesy of local bakers.

Valori exhibits monthly changing art for sale featuring local artists, plus hand made works by Lisa Hepburn – notebooks, cards, earrings and bracelets made from recycled plant materials.

Tempest Seafood Restaurant & Teppanyaki Grill

Morgan’s Seafood has undergone a makeover and has now re-opened as Tempest Seafood Restaurant & Teppanyaki Grill.

Tempest offers fresh locally sourced seafood and fish from the trawler to the table. Live lobsters, mud crabs, and other crustaceans are available when in season, and can be seen in the tanks—a main feature of the restaurant.

The menu at Tempest is modern with an uncompromising focus on excellence – bursting with freshness and flavour.

The Mikado – Redcliffe Cultural Centre

Come and join the Three Little Maids, The Lord High Executioner and the Wandering Minstrel for a Mikado With A Cast Of 6,  packed with loads of laughs and glorious tunes beautifully sung at Redcliffe Cultural Centre on Friday 12 February.

The Gilbert & Sullivan Company Of Australia’s production will contain many musical delights as well as comedy scenes that will have audiences in gales of laughter, with songs like, ‘Three Little Maids From School’, ‘The Sun Whose Rays’, ‘Here’s A Howdy Do’, ‘Tit Willow’ and many more.

Performed on a full touring set, in superb costume, The Mikado is, like all their Gilbert & Sullivan Musicals, full of surprises and fun for all ages.
