Wicked tells the incredible untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy dropped in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz and formed an unlikely but profound friendship: the blonde and very popular Glinda and a misunderstood green girl named Elphaba. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will test their friendship to the limit and ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
This awe-inspiring, spectacular and gravity-defying show has been playing on Broadway since 2003 and is now coming to Redcliffe Cultural Centre.

Beach Yoga Redcliffe
Beach yoga by Simply Yoga on the beautiful Suttons beach in Redcliffe is the perfect way to relax during your stay at Scarborough Beach.
Your teacher is Monica Batiste who has been teaching yoga since 2004 and has been working in the fitness industry since 1986. Her background is in personal training, aerobics, nutrition and weight loss counselling. The style of yoga taught is Yoga Rhythms which is a Hatha style of yoga.
No experience is necessary as Simply Yoga caters for all fitness levels and ages.There are easy postures for beginners, and more advanced postures for when your body has improved in strength and flexibility.
All classes are held at Suttons beach, Margate, Redcliffe (Southern lawn-near Pilpel by the Sea restaurant)

Whale Watching Moreton Bay – Jun to Nov
Each year the magnificent Southern Humpback Whales migrate to and from Antarctica. As these gentle giants of the deep make their way through our warm waters they feed, mate and play in the clean, clear blue sea of Moreton Bay. Learn to Sail
Learn to sail in the beautiful Moreton Bay waters with Moreton Bay Boat Club Junior Sailing courses.
Moreton Bay Boat Club run two courses at the Club: Tackers and Learn to Sail. Tackers is an introductory, fun, games based sailing program designed by Yachting Australia for kids aged 7 – 12. Whilst Learn to Sail sessions are for the more serious sailors and run each Sunday, with 2 hour sessions which run for 9 weeks in line with the school semester.
They also run school holiday programs throughout each school holiday, which are 5 day programs 9am – 1pm each day and teach the fundamentals of sailing. Private lessons are also available.
No previous sailing experience is required as you are taught all aspects of sailing. Junior Sailing sessions are aimed at kids 7+ and require a basic level of swimming. All equipment, boats, life jackets etc is provided.

Redcliffe Walking Tours
Take a guided walking tour of Redcliffe and learn about the history of the area and the first settlers.
The walking tour, guided by a Redcliffe Museum volunteer, takes approximately one hour, commencing from Captain Cook Park where mention is made of the explorations of Cook and Matthew Flinders.
Next stop is at the First Settlement Memorial Wall which is the site of the first settlement, chosen by John Oxley, in September 1824.
At the Redcliffe Jetty learn about the three jetties which serviced the city since 1885. At the Koopa Deck learn about the SS Koopa which brought tourists to Redcliffe between 1911 and 1953.
On the way to the Redcliffe Museum you pass the only remaining World War II air raid shelter and the site of a convict built well. The remains of an old weir on Humpybong Creek are the last point of interest before arrival at the Redcliffe Museum.

Caboolture Historical Village
Talk a stroll down memory lane at the Caboolture Historical Village just north of Caboolture on the old Bruce Highway.
The Historical Village is situated on 4 hectares and is listed as the Number One Tourist destination in the region with over 70 buildings, and more than 110,000 museum pieces. Visitors are able to walk through the visitors centre and step out into a Village of yesteryear.
The street with the old post office, barber, butcher and general store will bring back memories for many, however there is much more including an exhibition from the Queensland Prison’s Museum, the old Caboolture Hospital, several cottages that were moved from various sites around Caboolture, the old Caboolture Railway Station, and a popular exhibit with models of ships from the First Fleet to arrive in Sydney in 1788.
A great history lesson for the children! During school holidays, children are entertained by a variety of activities and opportunities to explore within the Village. Special events are held throughout the year.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch and sit around the lawns, or at a picnic table, or you can eat at either the Redhall Cafe or the Boiling Billy Tea Room.

Sutton’s Beach Beer,Food & Wine Festival
Good food, good beer and good times are to be had at the Sutton’s Beach Beer, Food & Wine Festival on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May.
Check out craft beers, lovely wines and tasty Middle Eastern food in the parkland, directly in front of the Pilpel By The Sea Restaurant.
As well as tasty food and drinks there will be live entertainment provided by local bands. Both days the festival will go from 10 am to 10 pm.
