Active Holidays for Kids @ Scarborough

If you are looking to entertain the kids during your stay in Scarborough over the school holidays, the Moreton Bay Regional Council conduct a heap of free activities for children called Active Holidays.

The Active Holidays program will get the kids moving this January with a range of sport and recreation activities for children and youth aged 3 – 17 years. All activities are provided by qualified instructors in local parks and facilities across the region, providing new challenges for a fun-filled school holiday.

Here is a sample of what is on offer:

11 Jan – Ramp Day Out (5-15yrs) Redcliffe Skate Park, Redcliffe

12 Jan – Little Dance Moves (3-6yrs) Scarborough Park

12 Jan – Stand Up Paddle Boarding (12-17yrs) Suttons Beach Park, Redcliffe

15 Jan – Ramp Up Skateboard Beginner Session (5-15yrs) Redcliffe Skate Park, Redcliffe

17 Jan – Learn to Sail (12-17yrs) Moreton Bay Boat Club, Scarborough

18 Jan – Stand Up Paddle Boarding (12-17yrs) Suttons Beach Park, Redcliffe

20 Jan – Stand Up Paddle Boarding – 15 minute sessions (3-17yrs) Suttons Beach Park, Redcliffe
