Skating into Brisbane to entertain the kids for the school holidays is Ice Age Live! A Mammoth Adventure performing at Brisbane Entertainment Centre for four big shows on 1 to 3 April.
The show combines exceptional ice skating, aerial arts, puppetry and film, with a new story based on the first three Ice Age films. Ice Age characters Sid, Manni, Diego and of course Scrat will be appearing as life-sized 3.6-metre-tall figures in an awe-inspiring journey.
The entire family will get the ultimate Ice Age experience filled with fun, laughter and suspense.

Stage Door Gallery
For those who appreciate fine art, Stage Door Gallery at Redcliffe Cultural Centre exhibits the works of a variety of different artists.
The gallery mainly features the works of local artists, however it welcomes regular exhibitions from artists residing outside the Moreton Bay region.
After you have finished browsing the gallery grab a coffee and cake from Cue Café, located in the lower foyer of the Redcliffe Cultural Centre. Featuring ultra-comfortable lounge dining and a beautiful courtyard deck.

Charmaine Wilson – The Spirit Whisperer
Internationally renowned spirit medium, Charmaine Wilson, is appearing at Redcliffe Cultural Centre on Thursday 14 April.
She will bring messages of love and healing to those suffering through the loss of a loved one, on her Happy Memories Tour.

Café 3 Eight Nine
For a funky chic little café which is great for a drop in for a coffee, a glass of wine or gourmet all day breakfast, Café 3 eight nine is located on the beach front shopping village of Scarborough.
Outside there is plenty of seating to take in the lovely views over Scarborough Beach and smell the fresh sea air. Inside the walls are adorned with the works of artist Simon de Groot, the coffee is di Bella and lunch comes with a $4 glass of wine.
On the breakfast menu are waffles, breakfast burger on Turkish and banana bread while for lunch the choices vary between open grills, salads and burgers or for something more substantial USA pork ribs, Angus beef or fish of the day. There is also a tasty dessert menu.

Wiggle Town
Get ready to wiggle! Australia’s favourite children’s entertainment group, The Wiggles, are coming to the Redcliffe Cultural Centre on Tuesday 29 March.
Wiggle Town is the name of a brand new tour as well as the new Wiggles CD, DVD, and TV series which debut on ABC TV soon.
All the family can sing, dance and laugh along with Emma (Yellow Wiggle), Lachy (Purple Wiggle), Simon (Red Wiggle) and Anthony (Blue Wiggle) as they perform some of their old favourites. Plus their cool wiggly friends: Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword the friendly pirate.

Pines Bar & Restaurant
Pines Bar & Restaurant (formerly Danny’s Restaurant) overlooks Scarborough Beach and the waters of Moreton Bay from their location on the ground floor of Scarborough Beach Resort.
The restaurant boasts waterfront dining, an indoor/outdoor bar area with tapas/bar snacks menu, indoor/outdoor dining area with a la carte menu and seating for about 80.
Whilst the restaurant is not a ‘seafood restaurant’ its reputation for providing diners with the freshest all-Australian seafood is second to none, plus there are plenty of other menu options, including Gluten-Free and Vegetarian.

Redcliffe Sails Festival
A vibrant and colourful seaside celebration of all things Easter and nautical, the Redcliffe Sails Festival is happening this Easter. Head down to Suttons Beach at Redcliffe on Good Friday, 25 March to get the best view of the yachts sailing past in the 68th Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race.
There’s even an Easter surprise for the kiddies with a visit from the Easter Bunny, an Easter Egg hunt on the beach and plenty of rides and activities for kids – including a giant sand sculpture on the beach.
The Sails Festival will have something for everyone on a minimal budget with many free and low-cost activities. Along with plenty of entertainment, activities and workshops for the young (and the young at heart), there are more than 150 quality art, craft, handmade and unique market stalls as well as delicious food.
The festival commences at 9am and finishes at 4pm on Good Friday.

Valori Espresso Lounge & Gallery
Valori Espresso Lounge & Gallery is a funky little art gallery come coffee lounge overlooking Scarborough Park.
Valori has a well-earned reputation for the best espresso and iced coffee on the peninsula thanks to its dedicated baristas working their magic on beans from local roaster Neli Coffee.
