Easter is a time for celebration and spending time with family and friends.  What better way to combine those traditions than with a visit to Redcliffe Festival of Sails!

This FREE family friendly event marks the start of the thrilling Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, and offers lots of family activities, markets and more.

Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race
One of the biggest yacht races in Australia, now in it’s 69th year! The yachts will pass across Moreton Bay on their way to Gladstone in a bid to win the coveted Courier Mail Cup.
Hot tip: Bring binoculars, camping chairs or picnic blankets and settle in early to secure one of best vantage spots.

Browse the hundreds of markets set up along the foreshore, offering everything from arts and crafts to gourmet goodies and tasty food stalls.

Easter Themed Fun for the Kids
The kids will have a great time with face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides, an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself! (watch the sky – he sometimes has a habit of dropping by via parachute!)

Redcliffe Festival of Sails Live Stage Entertainment
Great for all ages, the main stage will be pumping out live music and entertainment throughout the day.

Action on the Beach
Head down to the shoreline to check out the awesome hand crafted sand sculptures. If you’ve got kids with you, they will love getting hands-on and make their own sand sculptures. There will also be beach volleyball, and more!

Redcliffe Festival of Sails takes place on Easter Friday the 14th of April from 9am to 4pm at  Suttons Beach – Marine Parade Redcliffe.
