All of us here at Scarborough Beach Resort know how stressful and time consuming planning a wedding can be in a location you may be unfamiliar with.

To give you a little bit of help, we’ve compiled a list of great local venues and services to help you plan your big day.

Reid’s Place

Located only minutes away from Scarborough Beach Resort, Reid’s Place offers a charming garden chapel setting for your wedding ceremony.

Reid’s Place has a beautiful, old Colonial home to use for your wedding preparation and photography. It is also in close proximity to many award-winning local reception venues on the Redcliffe Peninsula.

There are several wedding day packages from including the Classic Wedding Experience, Platinum Wedding Experience, and the Ultimate Wedding Experience. All packages provide the ceremony venue for 1.5 hours, rehearsal, vintage car, and marriage celebrant. They can also arrange for photographers, decorations and more.

Water’s Edge Function Centre

Celebrate in style at this waterfront reception venue overlooking the beautiful Scarborough Boat Harbour.

This award-winning venue is suitable for gatherings of 50 – 200 people. The function space is equipped with an indoor/outdoor bar, large dance floor with lighting effects, stage, microphone, and lectern. There is also a lift and facilities for the disabled.

You can choose to have your wedding ceremony onsite, or simply hold your reception at Waters Edge.

Moreton Bay Boat Club

Situated on the picturesque Scarborough Harbour overlooking Moreton Bay, Moreton Bay Boat Club is a waterfront venue that can cater for weddings of up to 120 guests.

A wide variety of wedding package options are available. Choose from the Memories Package, Gourmet Cocktail Party,  Canapes, Seafood Buffet, BBQ Menu, Shared Table Style, Set Menus or the ‘We do it all’ package.
